Outside HVAC Sales Representative

We are currently seeking an experienced, energetic, and highly motivated salesperson to join our team.  The primary duties of this position are to generate new business, manage and grow existing client relationships, as well as strategically plan for development of future business, primarily in the commercial market.  We specialize in rooftops units and want to continue to build on this as well as other HVAC areas.  This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual wanting to join an established company looking to expand and grow their client base.

The duties of this position:

  • Generate new accounts
  • Generate customer leads, build on relationships to grow sales
  • Follow up on leads and proposals
  • Conduct post-sale follow up to ensure all sales agreements have been satisfied to the customer's complete satisfaction
  • Meet with potential clients to evaluate needs and assess projects
  • Pricing and bidding projects per the organizations pricing plan and structure as directed by the team
  • Make effective and persuasive presentations that will lead to closure on new business
  • Handle customer requests and issues
  • Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related results
  • Other job duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Team:

  • A self-starter, with the drive to achieve or exceed yearly sales targets
  • Highly effective working independently and within a team
  • Exceptional communication, customer service, and sales skills
  • Flexibility, along with the ability to operate well under pressure
  • Good time management skills

Skills, Abilities and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years HVAC sales experience with demonstration of excellent customer service skills, organizational, time management and great communication skills
  • Knowledge of rooftop units
  • Preferred HRAI Certification for HVAC programs and designs
  • Computer literacy including a practical knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel)
  • A valid provincial Driver's License
  • Access to own vehicle and willingness to travel
  • Completion of Post-Secondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience
