306A Plumber

We are currently seeking an experienced, energetic, and highly motivated Plumber to join our team.  The primary duties of this will be responsible for installation repair and maintenance of piping systems, fixtures and equipment used for water distribution, drainage, and waste disposal.  This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual wanting to join an established company looking to expand and grow their client base.

The duties of this position:

  • Represent Reliable in a professional, courteous and customer service-oriented manner on each and every call
  • Read, interpret, create, and maintain drawings and specifications
  • Lay out, assemble, install, maintain, and repair piping, fixtures, and other components for the supply or disposal of water for any domestic, commercial, institutional, or industrial purpose
  • Connects any appliance that uses water
  • Installs the piping for any process, including the conveyance of gas, or any tubing for a pneumatic or air handling system
  • Reads and understands design drawings, manufacturers literature, and installation diagrams for piping and appliances.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned apprentices
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations
  • Interpret company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations
  • Other job duties as assigned

Skills, Abilities and Experience:

  • Current Plumber with a 306A certification
  • Minimum 5 years plumbing experience with demonstration of excellent customer service skills, organizational, time management, and great communication skills
  • Knowledge and skill of tools, equipment, and materials and practices of the trade
  • Knowledge of applicable plumbing codes, standards, and regulations
  • Knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of the trade
  • A valid and current provincial Driver’s License
